Ophthamologist Questions Ophthalmologist

Eye swelling?

I got hit in the eye this weekend. If I had to blow my nose and my eye has swollen up how long do I have to wait for swelling to go down or do I need to go to the doctor?

you need to see an eye doc. Sounds like the nasal bones are broken. You need to have a CT scan
Of the selling subsides, there is no need to worry. If it gets bought and inflamed, you should see a doctor for antibiotics
If your symptoms have not resolved or are getting worse, then you should certainly go to the doctor. This injury potentially can be quite serious and getting a thorough ophthalmic and ENT exam is the responsible thing to do.
Depends on the diagnosis. A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
If you have swelling after your blow your nose and after you were hit in the eye, you likely have an orbital fracture. You should not blow your nose and should see an Ophthalmologist for an eye exam.
You should seek professional evaluation by an ophthalmologist in this case.
