Famotidine?

I need help with the above mentioned medication. It was prescribed to my infant that is shy of two months because he was having acid reflux problems. The bottle noted to give my infant 0.3ml and I read this wrong and thought it meant 3ml.

I am concerned that because I gave my infant the wrong dose that it will affect him. Please help. He’s only been taking the medicine twice a day for the last 7 days.

No effect. Give 0.3 ml only.
This should be okay, but you should call your doctor to have him checked. He might want to have you not give the medication for the next week or two.
First stop any further doses, even at correct dose for at least one week. Overdose can cause agitation and headache. Even if your baby does not show symptoms, do not continue medication. Discuss non medicinal treatment of reflux with your pediatrician in the mean time.
There's always a reason for babies to cry. The most common one is when they are hungry. That is a way of communication. Of course, other reasons should be considered such as diaper rash, any kind of pain or uncomfortable situation!
