“Feeling deathly sick”
I started feeling bad this past Wednesday. I couldn't get out of bed except to deal with diarrhea the next 5 days. I couldn't eat and felt terrible. I had pain in my right side radiating up my back. I lost 10lbs. during this time. This use to happen when i drank too much alcohol but I haven't drank any alcohol in over 5years.

You probably had an infectious colitis, which usually resolves on its own. For chronic symptoms like these then you should see a doctor. Also, make sure that you are up to date on colon cancer screening.
