Ear-Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT) Questions Ear-Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT)

Fever?

5-6 days ago I began to have a slight headache. That night I had a slight fever. The day after the fever ranged from 102-103.7 without medication. Fast forward to today, ~6 days later, and the fever has not budged. That is the only symptom, other than a headache that only comes with high temperatures. Have been taking Tylenol/Advil to manage the fever + 5 day zpack and no change. Please help.

Hi, I would suggest, you go to an urgent care or your primary care doctor as soon as possible. A prolonged fever is usually a sign of some kind of infection. Hope you feel better soon! The obvious need is COVID testing. Without other focal symptoms, it is difficult to give advice. Best to see your internist.
