“Finally ruined my back. Ruining my life?”

I have always done very hard physical labor and I am skinny 6 foot 1 inch and 155 pounds 48 year old. I broke my back several times but it has always healed until six years ago. I was sawing down a tree and it popped and I could feel all my spinal fluid gushing out into my butt! It was the first three bottom discs herniated. ALL the doctors have treated me like dirt and as a criminal just looking for drugs! They put me on BUPRENORPHEN which is prescribed to drug addicts apparently. It has TONS of AWFUL side-effects but it worked great for about six months all I needed was half a pill a day and I could walk around and work again!

Then even after three pills not so much! I am miserable and can sleep only an hour or two and I do it standing up as sitting and lying down hurts a lot! Nerve-blockers like neurotin And gabapentin do nothing and even strong pain meds like hydrocodone and Percocet do very little. Anything stronger than those is way too strong and I feel high on drugs! I used to drink medicinal whiskey until it started to flare up my arthritis really bad!

I never had luck with injections and with spine surgery too afraid because I never had a good surgery on other things like my hands and fingers it made things WORSE! I really don’t think I can live with myself if things get any worse!
