Foot veins?

Is it normal to have a foot full of small, dark veins? Both feet have them, only seems to have started this year. I'm a healthy weight, 5'9 145 lbs, maybe I've been a little too inactive this year, but I've started walking daily. The veins are not bulging but they are grossly visible beneath the skin. Also, they are visible on both ankles. I am just concerned whether these are spider veins or if something else could be causing this.

Male | 30 years old
Complaint duration: 1 year
Medications: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin K2, Magnesium, Zinc, Echinacea

Im sorry . Im not a Dr . You will need to refer to your health care provider . This is a mobile lab company we only do lab work and not consults . By law we cannot give medical advice or diagnosis. If you need blood work ,DNA test or drug testing we will be glad to help.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. From your description, it sounds like you may be noticing the early signs of spider veins or possibly something else. These are generally harmless but can sometimes indicate issues with circulation, especially if you've had a period of inactivity. Factors like genetics, prolonged sitting or standing, and even minor lifestyle changes can contribute to their appearance.

Since you've already started walking daily, that's a great step toward improving circulation. However, it's important to assess whether there might be an underlying vascular concern or if this is simply a cosmetic issue.

I’d recommend scheduling a consultation so we can examine this in detail, discuss your symptoms further, and, if necessary, run some tests to rule out any deeper vein concerns. We can also discuss possible treatments if needed.

Hello:
No, this is not normal.
This is likely the result of underlying vein disease.
I recommend that you see a vein specialist for an ultrasound.
