Having trouble getting pregnant after implant birth control?

I have been using an implant for the past two years and now I removed it because I want to be pregnant. However, my period is not coming yet for two months. What should I do?

The implant will NOT affect your fertility. I am guessing that You probably had a history of irregular periods, even before you place the implant. If that is the case, the issue will resume once you remove the implant. At this point, your best bet is to see a gynecologist to review your specific circumstances. I am confident that you will be able to achieve a successful pregnancy.
It can take up to 6 months for your cycle to return to normal after removal of the birth control. You can speak with your ob/gyn if no cycle by month 3.
Yes, it sometimes takes a while for the cycle to resume after use of NEXPLANON, though the device manufacturer had stipulated otherwise. That said, reassurance is the best approach at this time. If no cycles, have a self home pregnancy test, if negative, or otherwise visit with your GYN for surveillance. Hope this was helpful.
