A heel spur is usually associated with a condition called plantar fasciitis. There is a ligament on the bottom of the foot that gets inflamed and becomes painful. Stretching exercises, anti-inflammatory medication, arch supports and a frozen water bottle can be helpful. Sometimes injections of steroid are needed to help reduce inflammation and pain. On extreme cases surgery is needed. Jonathan M. Kletz, DPM Texas Foot WorksDallas, Athens and Gun Barrel City Texas214-340-8885
Heel spurs can cause pain so you need to treat the inflammation and the pain. You do not necessarily need to move her spurs
Sorry to tell you, but it generally needs a small surgical intervention. You should see a podiatrist.
Stretching exercises, icing, orthotics, accommodative shoes/sneakers, NSAIDS. Surgery is the last resort.
Ignore it and fix the way your walking

Treatment is dependent on size, location, symptoms, and quality of life...usually, no surgery is needed...conservative care is usually effective...please consult a local podiatrist.
With injections, orthotics, ant inflammatories, PT and rest. Surgery also, but last resort.
This a typically fixed with a stretching program for underlying plantar fasciitis you can also consider custom orthotics.
