“How can I make a ganglion cyst go away?”
I was diagnosed with a ganglion cyst. How can I make a ganglion cyst go away?

Sometimes they will resolve on their own without any intervention, other times you may need a needle aspiration or surgery.
I am not sure which body part you are referring to. If it’s hand, treatment of ganglion cyst varies. Sometimes if it’s big enough it might need to get drained. Please see your orthopedic doctor.
Well, without surgery or aspiration, you can’t really make it go away. However sometimes they will go away on their own.

You really can not make the ganglion "go away" on your own. I recommend that you do not hit it with a book or a bible. That being said, some ganglion cysts resolve on their own. If it does not, then I recommend you see a hand surgeon. Treatment options include aspiration, which is not always successful, or surgical excision.
