How can I make my bottom dentures fit better?

I am a 71 year old female. I want to know how can I make my bottom dentures fit better?

Lower dentures almost always move around and therefore highly recommend dental implants. Tongue movement and reduced jaw bone leads to minimal satisfaction with lower denture function.
If, the denture is more that a few years old, likely your denture requires a reline. It may need to be replaced. The best way to have a better fitting denture is to have implants placed and have an implant supported denture.

I would consult your dentist for either implants or relining the denture.
Adding two implants to your lower jaw bone will dramatically improve the denture stability and retention.
Use denture adhesive or get dentures relined to make it tighter if possible by your dentist.
I have been a dentist for 39 years. The most frustrating service I provide is lower full denture. They don't stay in place. The tongue muscle is constantly lifting and moving the denture. The very best way to GET A GOOD RESULT? AN ALL ON 4 Denture. This is a denture that is not removable, held in place with 4 implants. All patients who have this done love it. Please check this out.
Have the lower denture relined if the condition of the denture is good!
Hi,

Yes, with mini implants, we can stabilize your lower denture in 2 visits.

You can have it relined at the dental office.
It is possible that the dentures "fit," but do not have any retention. Retention comes from the remaining bone. No bone, no retention. If that is the case, then implants are really the only solution. You can have 2 or 4 implants placed and have anchors put into your denture to snap it in.
As we get older, especially if you are a woman after 50, we start to lose bone in our jaw where we've lost our teeth. Dentures will become loose and will not stay in without glue. For now, you can use denture glue you can buy in the drugstore. A more stable solution would be to get a new denture that will fit "tighter" on your jaw bone.
Bottom dentures are very difficult to stay in without a very tall ridge. Dental adhesives help, but don't give patients total confidence. The best way to stabilize a bottom denture, without seeing your ridge in person, would be to have at least 4 mini dental implants placed on the ridge and attachments placed in your current denture to attach to the mini dental implants. Find a Mini Dental Implant Center of America location near you for a consultation.

The fit of a well made, lower complete denture depends on the anatomy inside your mouth. If you have enough bone to form a solid residual ridge upon which the denture rests, you will have a great result. If you don't have enough bone for the denture to rest on, it may move when you eat or talk. This issue can be resolved by having several implants placed into the bone. Attachments are placed into the implants that allow your denture to snap into place and stay put.
It is challenging most times. If the denture is made right, then to use adhesive is the answer. You can also have implants to support the denture.
