Your choices are to:
1. Move the teeth closer to each other (via Braces or Invisalign/or
similar), or
2. Add on to the teeth (composite bonding or Veneer [composite or
porcelain]) making the teeth bigger to fill in the space.
Orthodontics or veneers
There are multiple options such as crown, veneers, or bonding. You dentist should be able to give you options that would work best with your situation.
You must evaluate each patient. There is NO one correct answer, It depends if your opposing teeth are "hitting" where the gap is located. It also requires for the dentist to evaluate if it is better to close the gap by MOVING all the teeth in the area, or if it will be correct just to add with tooth color composite both sides of the space. That will be sufficient sometimes to have an esthetic and functional result.
