I have scoliosis. It hurts sometimes. How can I prevent my scoliosis from getting worse?

There are actually very specific exercises that can help with scoliosis. You want to treat your body asymmetrically. You will need to strengthen one side and stretch the other side. If you know the direction of the curvature of your spine, this will help. You will want to strengthen the convex side and elongate the concave side of your torso.
Depending on the severity of the angle, there are 3 stages. 1st being exercises for a mild angle, 2nd being exercises and an orthotic device (brace) and 3rd being the most severe, is surgery. I suggest consulting your closest primary care physician or orthopaedic doctor to get an xray to see the degree of your scoliosis.
