You probably need to see your dentist for an adjustment Is on your denture
Once you begin to have gum pain, or any kind of discomfort from your dentures it is best to make a dental appointment right away. All you may need is a simple denture adjustment, or perhaps if there has been changes with your mouth you could require a reline of the denture. If you let the situation linger it can cause you to be in unnecessary pain and discomfort.
Most likely your denture does not fit well
It needs to get adjusted. In some cases it needs to get redline or remake
If dentures are more than 5 years you probably need a new set. If you have lost weight then they might be loose, a reline would be another option.
Gum pain in a patient wearing a denture is usually the result of an ill-fitting denture. The denture will either need to be relined or remade according to the current condition of the denture. Schedule an appointment with your dentist.
