I got the flu last week. How do I get my energy back after the flu?

After a brief illness, our bodies need to recoup the energy and other resourses directed toward healing. The other reason for being tired would tyically be because of laying or sitting more than your usual routine. To solve these issues, you would eat lots of fruits, green vegetables, a handful of nuts about twice a day, bean dishes, and along with easily digestible lean meats and carbs as your diet allows. You would also benefit from moderate exercise as toletated such as taking a walk daily. If you are not on fluids restriction, drink about 6-8 cups of water daily. Keep salt and sugar intake to a minimum. This can be better achieved if you eat less canned and processed foods. Wishing you all the best!
