So I’ve had this ingrown for about a month pain level is on a good day a five bad day at seven or eight it’s always super swollen and I can’t afford to go to a doctor for it

I recommend you see a Podiatric physician as soon as possible. In the interim, soak daily in water with antibacterial soap, and apply topical antibiotic preparation along the affected nail border. And remember that your health is an investment, not an expense!
