How do you fix receding gums from one tooth?

I have receding gums around one tooth only. What could be the cause? What are the treatment options?

Under the right circumstances a tissue graft can be performed.
The fix is tough to answer without clinically seeing the causation of the recession. It can be a multifactorial cause, so I highly recommend that you see your dentist asap. They may recommend an evaluation by a periodontist who may elect to treat via a gum graft, addition of bone, or other methods. Excellent question that needs to be addressed clinically. Way to be observant, now seek out professional help!!
