How do you soothe a toothache from braces?

I have toothache from braces. How do you soothe a toothache from braces?

If you have no counter indication to taking Tylenol, taking an appropriate dose that your doctor would recommend to treating a mild headache would be my first choice.
If the toothache is caused by sores caused by the braces then you could use Gum Rincinol Mouth Sore Rinse.
Hello! Some toothache is normal and a good sign meaning the teeth are moving. Yay! But some relief is a good thing so try the following: - Keep your teeth and braces very clean - Soft foods - Over the counter pain meds - Rub some orajel over the gums in the immediate area - Drink some ice water - careful not to chew on the ice - A cold pack or bag of peas over your cheek/lips bur put a thin towel or pillow case in between You will soon feel better.
Taking ibuprofen, as directed, usually helps.
