See your dental provider. Then carefully brush and floss your teeth. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water rinses (8 oz cup of warm water and 1/4 tsp of salt). Rinse for 30 seconds and expectorate. You should do this at least 3 times a day for the next 7 days. Take Ibuprofen or Aleve if you are able to take these medications.
The solution is a simple one. Get a profession teeth cleaning by a dental hygienist and then follow the home care instructions given. The pain should go away in a few days as long as you don't have a bigger gum issue.
