Neurologists help in the diagnosis by ruling out anatomical and physiological causes for behavioral problems, such as brain tumors, medical problems etc. Neuropsychologists often do testing to aid in the diagnosis too. Even psychiatrists help. Multiple disciplines work together to make the diagnosis oftentimes.
