Depending on what kind of bone graft, and depending on if the bone graft required a membrane or not, and many other factors. The usual placement of the implant is about 4 to 8 months after the bone graft placement. For more information click here for implant dentistry: https://celebritydentist.com/dental-implants/
The standard is usually about 3 months.
Speak with your surgeon, they will have the proper answer based on the type of bone you have and the size of the graft. Generally my patients heal at least 4 months before having an implant placed. I myself waited seven months after my graft, before having an implant placed.
Generally, a bone graft takes 3 to 6 months to heal, depending on the health and age of the patient. Consider it like a broken bone. It is not fully healed for some time.
