Good question. It depends on the circumstances surrounding your stenting procedure. If you had a heart attack or have compromised heart function, cardiac rehab is usually the best way to advance your exercise routine. It also depends on whether the procedure was done through your wrist or groin artery. Your cardiologist should be able to guide you on what the most appropriate exercise plan is based upon your medical history and the circumstances surrounding your stent procedure.
In general after 10 days returning to a prior level of activity would be fine. It depends on whether other narrowing(s) resulting in expected decreased coronary blood flow and symptoms that were not capable of being "stented" were also present and whether problems associated with the stent procedure occurred.
