How long after an eye infection can I wear contacts?

I am a 30 year old male. I want to know how long after an eye infection can I wear contacts?

My practice is to wait until the course of antibiotic (eyedrops or oral) is complete. Then examine the eyes and start CL if all is ok.
You should resume wearing your contact lenses when the infection is completely resolved. After a careful examination, your doctor will indicate when the right time is for you.
