“How long after extraction can I get a dental implant?”
I will have a tooth extraction. How long after extraction can I get a dental implant?

It depends, the extraction site has to heal generally 4-6 months before an implant can be considered. It also depends where in the mouth the tooth was extracted? Your provider should have done a socket preservation procedure at the time of the extraction to aid in healing and promote bone formation. If, the site was too badly infected it may not have been possible.
