As with any surgical event, getting an implant may require you to delay returning to your exercise routine for a few days. Best to ask your implant surgeon if there are any limitations for you.
Avoid strenuous work or exercise (heavy lifting, jogging, tennis, aerobics, and sit-ups) for at least 1 week after surgery. Apply ice to the face to reduce swelling the day of surgery.
