I had a wisdom tooth removal 2 days ago. How long after wisdom teeth removal can I eat normally?

This depends on your own healing. Each person heals differently, some quicker, some slower. I would eat softer foods and work your way up to heavier chewing foods. Try to avoid things that will break off into sharp little pieces as they may be very irritating if stuck in the holes.

You can eat as soon as the procedure is over. However, remember that the lip, tongue, and gum numbness will last up to three hours after the procedure. So if you eat, do so with caution as you might unintentionally bite your lip or tongue. A soft diet (anything that has the consistency of mashed potato, boiled egg or pasta) that is not too hot or too cold is recommended in the first three days following the procedure.
