I will have hip replacement surgery. How long are you on bed rest after a hip replacement?

You are not on bed rest. Start physical therapy and home exercise program after surgery.
Only until your anesthesia and nerve block wear off. Once you have full control and feeling in your leg you should be up and moving out of bed.
Usually one to two days.
