I had hernia surgery 3 days ago. I want to know how long do stomach muscles take to heal after hernia surgery?

It takes at least 6 weeks for the tissues to come back together, whether you had a mesh placed or not. Please follow your surgeon's instructions.

6-12 months.
I usually tell patients that the muscle is healed about 80% at 2 weeks and 95% at 4 weeks.
