I am a 39 year old male. I want to know how long do you need physical therapy after hip replacement?

There is reasonable literature that essentially is advocating for no PT after a hip replacement procedure. There has been no clinical difference shown either with or without PT. However, cannot be generalized to everyone. But basically for you indicates that there is considerable variability and benefit to PT. Do it as long as you feel benefit but then start exercising on your own.
