Hi! Typically, foot surgery is a same day procedure. This is a discussion you would have with your podiatrist if more is involved.
Heel is a part of your body. You did not mention what type of surgery you
are referring to so your question can't be answered. Most surgeries today
are done as an outpatient and you get to go home the same day but not all.

That would depend on the extent of the surgery and your ability to control the pain with oral medication as well as other medical conditions that may need to be controlled in a hospital setting following the procedure.
That being said any surgery on the foot or ankle can be done on an outpatient basis if the home environment is conducive to supply the support necessary for activities of daily living.

This is usually an outpatient surgery with no hospital stay. I recommend you discuss this with your surgeon.
Depends on the surgeon. I’m my office My patients walk out and go home on the same day.
It depends on what the surgery was for. If it was for an injury, you may be there a day or two for pain control. Heel surgery is painful and we often have more means at our disposal to control this pain in the hospital right after the surgery than you would at home. That said, if this was an elective surgery, most patients go home the same day with oral medications.
You do not usually stay in the hospital after heel surgery.
