A prostate CT scan typically takes around 10 to 30 minutes to complete. To learn more, connect with me at drjeromepuryear.com. Thank you!
Thank you for contacting FATD to inquire how long a prostate CT scan may take.  Most practically, just ask your local CT service where you are scheduled to have because each individual CT machine may have some variation on its function and protocol. In addition, it is unclear which part of the body is going to have CT for what purpose such as for primary or for metastasis. Due to some unclear variables for CT scan, please refer your specific questions to your urologist or local CT service.  To assist you on how to interact with medical professionals, please take your time to view "What to do if feeling sick...?" at  What Should You Do When You Feel and Become Sick? It depends if you’re having contrast or no contrast. I typically order them with no contrast which takes about 2 to 4 minutes. If you’re doing it with contrast and need delayed films sometimes that will be 5 to 15 minutes.
