“How long does it take for blood thinners to work on blood clots?”
I was diagnosed with blood clots and I use blood thinners. How long does it take for blood thinners to work on blood clots?

The full effect of blood thinners can be achieved between 2 to 3 hours. Now, Warfarin takes around three days (3) to have their full effect. You may need regular blood tests to check how well the blood is clotting. To dissolve a clot, the blood thinners can take weeks to months to dissolve, depending on the clot size. Thank you.
