I got a crown on my molar tooth 3 days ago. My gums are still swollen. How long does it take for your gums to heal after a crown?

Depends on how much trauma and overall health of patient.
You have to wait at least 2 weeks. Most are cured quicker, but give it time and…clean very well. Not a lot of extra brushing, but mouthwash also.
They should be fine within a week or 10 days.
Usually it takes anywhere from 7-14 days for the gum around a newly placed crown to heal and return to normal. In order to speed the process along, it is essential to keep the area very clean. Salt water rinses can also reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth and further along the healing process. If the gum still remains swollen after 7-14 days, it is recommended that you return to your dentist for follow-up.
