“How long does it take to recover after liver surgery?”

Up to 6 months.

Depending on how much is being resected, what type of medicines you’re on, and will be discharged with, any other pre-morbid or pre-surgical medical conditions, allergies, medication sensitivities, etc. of all been completed and you have been given the greenlight by your primary care provider. As well as, any and all of you are treating providers with their suggestions for treatment preoperative the postoperatively. And on signing your consent form you’re normally get a packet of what to expect and that goes over it in very simple basic terms which are very easy to understand and apply. If you’ve not received any of that I would contact the provider who is going to be performing your surgery and ask for the aforementioned and or of the questions I stated to you of what I would need to answer your questions.
