Depends on the thickness of your enamel. Some immediate, others never.
There are a lot of variables. Different doctors use different strength whitening gels. Over the counter gels tend to take much longer.
This depends on the initial shade of your teeth, the cause of discoloration (tetracycline stains are particularly stubborn), the amount of brightening that you are hoping to achieve and the product you are using. Trays may be needed from one week to one month to achieve your desired result.
