I will have a tonsillectomy. How long does tonsil surgery take? What are the side effects?

Normally 1-2 hours. Side effects mainly bleeding and infection.
Generally the operating time is about thirty minutes, not counting anesthesia induction, anesthesia reversal, recovery time time. Side effects: Throat pain, ear pain, neck soreness, potential rebreeding, difficulty and pain on swallowing. Take off at least a week
