My daughter will have a tonsillectomy. How long is hospital stay for tonsillectomy?

I do most kids outpatient, go home the same day. But if hospitalization is needed, it would only be overnight
Usually, 24 to 48 hours.
I think it is a day surgery, so she would be home the same day.
