I am a 38 year old female. I want to know how long should I take off work after liposuction?

That kind of depends on your line of work and the amount of liposuction you are having performed on you. With liposuction there are no major incisions to heal so if you have a sedentary job you could potentially be back to work almost right away. On the other hand if you have extensive liposuctioning and a very physical job you may need more time to recover.
There is postoperative pain associated with liposuction and most patients take 7-14 days off of work. The time off of work my also depend on what time of work a patient does and might be longer if the patient has a labor intensive job.
One week should be sufficient
