It takes 24 - 48 hours depending on what the pathologist find microscopically. Sometimes, the pathology needs to do more test from the findings.
Results of biopsy of soft tissues are usually available in 1-2 days. If special studies are or consultation is needed, it may take a week or so.
Depends on a lot of variables. The nature of the biopsy and how much processing needs to be done prior to interpretation by a pathologist or your physician. Typically
Biopsy results typically take about 7 days to be resulted. This can vary depending on specimen collection, in-house vs. outside pathology review, etc. but 7 days is a good rule of thumb.
7-14 days.
Your physician’s office or hospital should have a process for your doctor to review results and call you. Don’t wait too long though if you have a serious kidney condition! Sometimes they have a wrong number and aren’t reaching you!
Results usually take about 2 weeks.
