“How long until you can eat normally with braces?”

Every Patient is different. Sometimes it takes several days to be able to eat normally with braces. The reason is teeth ARE MOVING and the ligament that holds teeth to the jaw are tender. Braces and bands make food difficult to chew.You will be able to eat, take it easy , eat slowly. Make sure you brush and clean after each meal.It is possible that after each visit to your Orthodontist You may need a few days to get used to the new position of yourteeth. The entire process must be done slowly to have a correct outcome and a good "bite". At the end you will also have a beautiful SMILE!
