Anesthesiologist Questions Anesthesiologist

How many hours being under anesthesia?

I was in a hospital placed in an operating room and was administered anesthesia at 9:50 am. I had the sling procedure at 14:30. I was placed in an operating room for second anesthesia. I do not remember that I did sign the consent as I was still under anesthesia from the first surgery when I was administered anesthesia prior to surgery and after surgery for pain and again a few hours later somebody obtained my consent for cystoscopy and I do not remember. They could have waited. I did feel an overdose and I was vomiting and have a headache and heart arrhythmia for over one week. I am under cardiologist control due to my heart problem .

I’m not exactly sure what your question is here, but my guess is that they were doing something they thought urgent and necessary for you. I’m very sorry for your pain, discomfort, and confusion. It would be highly unlikely they were acting in any other way than to do what they thought best for you.

There is no way you had three procedures under anesthesia two of them without recovering from the first. There is no way anybody in their right mind would take consent from you when you’re still recovering from anesthesia. If all this is true you need to get legal counsel to sue the hospital and the anesthesia department. As far as headache and vomiting anyone can have that even with 10 minutes of anesthesia. I’m not saying that everybody would get it but some do even with a very short time. Go find yourself a good lawyer.
