If there's was no sedation involved, you shouldn't be needing any rest after , but if you feel like you're tired from all the mouth opening and the drilling noises, as well as the numbing then you can take the day off.

After any oral surgery you should avoid any strenuous activity for a couple weeks post surgery. Depending on the number of implants that was done and whether sedation was administered, will determine how many days you should be resting. Typically, you should expect 3 days of facial swelling, possible bruising, and 1-2 days of discomfort.
If you don't have to have any extractions, 1-2 days would be sufficient.
We recommend elevating the head for at least 72 hours after dental implant surgery. To do this, you can prop yourself up on pillows in your bed. Alternatively, you can also sleep in a recliner for the first few days after your procedure.
