How often can you whiten your teeth with trays?

I am a 26 year old male. I want to know how often can you whiten your teeth with trays?

If you have bleaching trays made by your dental office and the bleaching gel dispensed from that office, you can whiten pretty regularly. It depends on a number of factors: the strength of the gel, your consumption of staining liquids (coffee, tea, red wine). I often advise my patients that thy will need to touch up every 2 to 6 months depending on their habits.
The initial treatment is one to 4 weeks depending on the severity of the problem. But after the first time the touch ups should be no more than once every 6 months.
As often as you like, unless you get sensitive.
You should see results with 5-7 days with whitening trays. After that, once in while.

Typically, we recommend only using the trays 1 time per day if you are doing an over-the-counter product (although I do not recommend, yet many do and have some results, but more money than a professional). Please get your teeth cleaned and checked at a dental office before, during, and regularly.
Once the prescribed course of bleaching is complete (one or two weeks), once per month will help maintain your desired result.
