“How often should breast implants be checked?”
I am a 28 year old female. I want to know how often should breast implants be checked?

At least every year if no problems. And if there is no reason to have an X-ray, do not do this. Implants have been ruptured by X-ray personnel. If there is a problem, get the X-ray.
If you are having a problem, have them checked right away. Keep in mind if you are over 50, you should undergo mammograms yearly.

I recommend that my breast implant patients follow up with me on an annual basis.
