How painful is jaw cyst surgery?

I will have jaw cyst surgery. How painful is jaw cyst surgery?

There should be no pain immediately after the operation due to the local anaesthetic used. This should last for 3-4 hours before sensation returns slowly and care should be taken to avoid biting the lip or tongue during this time. Simple painkillers (e.g. paracetamol) should be used to control the pain.
The level of discomfort associated with cyst surgery of the jaws may depend upon several variables, including but not limited to  the location of the cyst, as cysts can be in the bone, soft tissue, or in both bone and soft tissue, the type of anesthesia provided as well as the patient perception  and pain tolerance. Surgery is not painfully at all. In Post surgical period you may have some pain which is managed with painkillers
