As you are aware, it is hard to sleep with tennis elbow. There is less pull on the involved muscle with the wrist and elbow straight and wrist straight. Sometimes if you sleep with your wrist bent, a wrist brace is helpful. Ice massage prior to bed may be helpful.
Good luck.
No special recommended technique. Applying a topical lotion such as salon Paz with lidocaine can be helpful, and use melatonin to help promote sleep.

Ice pack for 20-30 mins before sleep; wear tennis elbow strap. And it doesn’t matter whether your elbow is flexed or extended; somewhere in between.
There is no evidence that says you should sleep in any particular position. So, sleep in any position you feel comfortable.

Hope it helps!!
