I had a facelift 2 weeks ago. I want to color my hair. How soon can you color your hair after a facelift?

I allow my patients to resume styling their hair a couple weeks after their surgery provided their incisions are completely healed. It’s not too unusual to have some areas of scabbing, particularly around, the hair line. In this case it’s best to wait until the scabbing is all resolved.
Typically, I recommend to my patients that after a facelift you should wait about 6 weeks prior to coloring your hair. this way, the incisions have time to heal and there should be little irritation at the site of the surgery.
