The best way is to set a good example on eating properly. There is no way we can expect our children to do something that we, as parents, are not willing to do. In addition, find a bariatrician in your area who can help her. Please go to: https://obesitymedicine.org/find-obesity-treatment/ to find a qualified physician to help her to overcome obesity and be able to live a long and healthy life.
Offer nutrient rich foods like fruits and vegetables- include 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. Limit nutrient poor foods with empty calories like white bread, fried foods, sweets and sugars. I give my kids complex carbohydrates like brown rice, brown bread, quinoa, millets. Include raw crunchy vegetables like baby carrots, celery, broccoli, bell peppers etc. Limit red meat and full fat dairy. I don’t offer more than 3 eggs per week. Include fiber rich beans and lentils and nuts and seeds for protein.
