How to treat a swollen eyelid?

My eyelid is swollen in one eye, it has lasted for 3 days and won't go away.

Depends on the diagnosis. A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
Do warm compresses 6-8 times a day. If sweeping still doesn’t go down, you should see your eye doctor for possible chalazion treatment and removal.
Sorry you should have recovered by now. A swollen eyelid could be due to a sty or mild infection.
You should see an eye doctor. There are several different causes for a swollen lid, including infection, allergy, bug bites, etc.
There are many possible causes of a swollen eyelid, some are vision or life threatening. I would recommend an eye exam with an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
