Using the ear phones is fine as long as you keep the decibel level down. Anything over 85 dB for 4 hours or more can lead to hearing loss. Turn the volume down, and use ear phones with external sound reduction, so you don't feel compelled to turn the volume up. Have your hearing tested by an audiologist so you have a baseline test and then monitor your hearing with a hearing test every 2 years.    Angela R. You should be ok as long as the volume is not too loud if others can hear it it's way too loud . Also recommend having a hearing test to establish a baseline.
