“I am wondering if I should be tested for an STD?”
A few days ago, I had a girl give me a blowjob but I used a condom the entire time and nothing else happened. I am just worried because she has definitely slept with a lot of other people, but she said she always uses protection. I have no symptoms other than worrying about if I could have an STD. If you recommend getting tested, how soon should I be tested and any other helpful information would be appreciated.

Thanks for the question. Some STDs are spread by direct contact, but those spread through the penis are prevented by condom use. You should be tested for syphilis, oral gonorrhea or chlamydia if you have had that type of contact, and consider an HPV vaccine if you have not had one, and possibly Hepatitis testing. Please discuss with your doctor.
